The taste of a transplanted wet/stuffed stew is influenced by many things, from the type of ingredients, to the choice of fresh ingredients, to the skill of preparing and serving the dishes. - 2 tablespoons EVOO
- 1/2 large onion
- 1/2 large green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup green olives
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons sofrito
- 1 envelope
- 1 pack of chicken broth
- 2 glasses of water
- 1 cup chicken or beef juice
- 1 salt to taste
- 1 pepper to taste
- 1/2 bunch coriander leaves (optional)
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 4 oz tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 pounds steak (approx.)
- 1 bay leaf
Steps to make transplanted raw / boil minced meat
- Rinse and dry the meat well. Cut into 3 large slices.
- Place the evo in a large (slightly deep) saucepan and brown the beef over medium heat. At this point, we only want to sear the meat, not fully cook it, so about 5 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, chop the onion and green pepper, grate the garlic and coriander.
- When the meat is browned, remove it from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add vegetables (onions, green peppers, garlic). Add more EVOO if needed. Cook until onion is translucent, then add saju, bursita chaken, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, sofrito, olives, tomato sauce, bay leaf, vinegar, juice and water. Garnish them with salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add the meat to the sauce. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours or until the meat is tender and easy to cut.
- After 2-2 1/2 hours, pan-sear the beef using 2 wooden spoons (or forks). Maybe the season. Add coriander leaves, cover the pot with a lid and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Serve with plain rice or mashed potatoes and enjoy!
