- Boil the daane for 3-4 whistles and cool and just press each daana to remove the skin.
- By squeezing this way the transparent skin of the papdi will come out.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard and jeera and allow to crackle.
- Then add Hing, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, chilli paste, curry leaves and saute for a while.
- Then add onions and cook till transparent.
- Then add the papdi ke daane and add water for consistency.
- Then add salt, sugar, red chilli powder,garam masala, coriander cumin powder and mix well.
- Close and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then off the flame and serve hot garnished with coriander.
